The KMI Advanced Program is a comprehensive seven day training experience held in Israel and selected locations around the world. Designed for experienced practitioners and instructors, it offers a clear pathway to earn KMI instructor certification, continue progressing through the KMI ranks or access advanced training focused entirely on your development as a practitioner.
Participants are grouped according to their experience, familiarity with the KMI system and demonstrated technical ability. First time participants establish the KMI foundations, while returning participants continue into the next level of material.
Our instructors observe participants throughout the program and adjust groups, material and individual challenges where appropriate. This ensures that everyone receives the technical foundation they need while training at a level that challenges them and supports their progression.
Core sessions bring the wider group together, while focused training, coaching and assessment allow each level to work on the material most relevant to them.

Advanced Practitioner Training offers experienced practitioners and instructors access to the complete practical component of the KMI Advanced Program.
This pathway is suited to people who want to focus on their own technical development, experience the KMI system or continue training while maintaining their existing school or organisational affiliation.
Participants complete all practical training at the appropriate KMI level, but do not complete the instructor education or certification assessments.
Participation in this pathway is for training purposes and does not create KMI instructor status or organisational affiliation.

PROGRAM CONTENT
The KMI Advanced Program combines a structured technical syllabus with training adapted to the experience and level of each group.
Most of the seven days are spent training, receiving coaching and applying Krav Maga skills and principles in increasingly challenging situations.

Level specific technical development
First time KMI participants concentrate on establishing the foundations of the system. Returning participants continue into the next level of material and explore greater technical depth, integration and application.
The exact content varies according to the levels represented at each program. This allows the training team to provide a structured progression while responding to the abilities and needs of the group.
Instructor Education
Participants following the Instructor Certification pathway also complete the education required to teach Krav Maga responsibly and effectively.
Much of the theoretical preparation is completed online before the live program. This includes:

During the live program, candidates apply this knowledge by planning and delivering lessons, teaching other participants and receiving direct feedback from the KMI training team.
This structure allows the live program to remain focused on practical training while giving instructor candidates the preparation, experience and assessment required for certification.
KMI Instructor Levels

Be at least 21 years old

Have no criminal record
-
Have at least three years of Krav Maga experience, or at least four years of experience in an appropriate striking based fighting system such as boxing or kickboxing

Be reasonably fit and capable of completing seven days of intensive training
Applications are reviewed individually according to each participant’s experience, background and suitability for the program.
